Stephen has 27 years’ experience in criminal defence. He obtained Duty Solicitor accreditation in 2001 and became a Solicitor-Advocate in 2005, having obtained his Higher Rights of Audience.
Stephen has appeared in the Court of Appeal on many occasions and conducts trials in both the Magistrates’ and Crown Courts.
Stephen is extremely well-regarded and sought-after when clients require representation at the Police Station. In 2014 he was Called to the Bar by Lincoln’s Inn and is one of a small number of people entitled to practise as both a solicitor and a barrister.
